The show regularly features interviews with a range of great blues & rock musicians.

Artists who have appeared on Route 66 include Joe Satriani, Walter Trout, Albert Lee, Erja Lyytinen, King King’s Alan Nimmo, Danny Bryant, Whitesnake’s Bernie Marsden, Europe’s Joey Tempest, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Matt Schofield, Laurence Jones, Chantel McGregor, Paul Rose, Dave ‘Harmonica’ Hunt, Dan Patlansky, Marillion’s Steve Hogarth, Virgil McMahon, Cara Robinson and Tommy Emmanuel.

If you haven’t heard the show before, it’s a two-hour romp through some of the best rock & blues music around today plus the latest music news and gig info. The show is a mix of the best new releases intermingled with classic rock anthems, blues standards and great album tracks.
