The Route 66 Radio Show has featured interviews with a line-up of top musicians during 2015.LAST 6 MONTHS

Walter Trout returned to music in 2015 with a superb album called ‘Battle Scars’ following a life saving liver transplant. Chris King Robinson is the most followed blues guitarist on Twitter and has released his debut EP. Instrumental guitarist Joe Satriani released his concept album ‘Shockwave Supanova’. King King front man Alan Nimmo discussed the band’s growing success and the ‘king of tone’, Leslie West talked to Rory about Mountain, recording with The Who and his new album ‘Soundcheck’.

Earlier in 2015 Rory talked to British Blues Award winner Laurence Jones, singer and guitarist Chantel McGregor, former Deep Purple singer and bass legend Glenn Hughes and the South African blues guitarist Dan Patlansky who supported Joe Satriani on his latest tour.

Also appearing on the show were Newcastle based virtuoso guitarist Paul Rose, Finnish slide goddess Erja Lyytinen, Harmonica player Dave Hunt and the lead singers from two well known rock bands both making new music in 2015; Joey Tempest of Europe and Dante Gizzi from Gun.
